ATC Exchange: Art Therapy Helping Others, Our Communites, and World

The Art Therapy Alliance on LinkedIn is excited to be organizing an Artist Trading Card (ATC) exchange with members of the ATA’s Materials & Media in Art Therapy subgroup, after this article was posted for discussion and referenced how Lisa Kay, an art therapist at the Kishwaukee Cancer Care Center in DeKalb uses ATC in her art therapy sessions with patients and families. This inspired members to want to learn more about ATCs, create their own, and created the opportunity for the group to collaborate together in a swap.

Participants will create four cards for the exchange focusing on the theme about how art therapy helps others, our communities, and world. At this time over 30 art therapists and art therapy students from across the US and Canada participating! Look for our exchange to be showcased here, featuring cards from each participant when the swap is completed!
