1000 Tweets: Art Therapy Alliance and Twitter

Twitter_bird

As the Art Therapy Alliance celebrates our 1000th tweet today, it’s nice timing to highlight the social networking and microblogging service Twitter. Twitter is one part of the social media trifecta that the Art Therapy Alliance uses daily to share, promote, and read news and status updates about art therapy, as well as to connect, meet, and dialogue with others interested in the art therapy field and using art for helping others.  Twitter is also a great community for us to learn more about resources, organizations, special projects or causes that we believe in and want to spread the word to others connected to the Art Therapy Alliance network via Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

Twitter has helped us connect with many creative, inspiring, and amazing individuals, groups, and ideas all over the world who share our passionate about art therapy, social media ,and the power of art & creativity to make a difference in the lives of others!  Much appreciation goes out for the dialogue, community, our followers, RTs, and support for art therapy… Thank you!
