Spotlight on Art Therapy & Older Adults Group on LinkedIn- Meet New Moderator Poppy Terris, M.S., ATR, CPC

The Art Therapy Alliance’s subgroup Art Therapy & Older Adults with Neurodegenerative Disorders provides a forum for the open exchange of ideas, therapeutic protocols, articles, resources, news, and information relating to the older adult population.

I am pleased to introduce the group’s new moderator Poppy Terris, M.S., ATR, CPC.  Poppy is a practicing Registered Art Therapist, Certified Professional Coach, Faculty Member at Ringling College of Art and Design, CEO of The Institute of Creative Growth, LLC, the parent organization of coachpoppy.com and alzheimercoach.com.

A client-centered-focus is the cornerstone of Poppy’s unique approach, where her expertise as an Art Therapist, Certified Coach, and College Psychology Professor, combined with an integration of positive psychology, and 19 years in sales, marketing, and leadership training, offer clients a positive platform for personal and professional growth and development.  As a keynote speaker in many presentations, workshops, and panels, Poppy’s specialization focuses on intergenerational groups, caregivers, and the aging population, who live with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other neurodegenerative concerns.

Welcome to Poppy in her new role as moderator and we look forward to the resources and discussions that her expertise will bring to this community! To make a request to join the dialogue, please visit this group on LinkedIn.
