Spotlight on Trauma, Loss & Art Therapy on LinkedIn

Want to connect with other art therapists who share common interests?  The Art Therapy Alliance community on LinkedIn  includes over 4300 art therapists, art therapy students, artists, mental health professionals, and other advocates who support the therapeutic use of art and interested in discussion and exchanging ideas about current art therapy issues and topics.

Our LinkedIn network also includes subgroups on specific populations and areas of interest related to art therapy for sharing of information, resources, additional discussion, and meeting other art therapists related to these topics. The Art Therapy Alliance makes up the largest group on LinkedIn for discussing contemporary and relevant art therapy topics, issues, and news.

Recently it was great to see Trauma, Loss, & Art Therapy reach over 1000 members, making this subgroup of one of our largest and an area of great interest for many in the art therapy community.  This subgroup helps provide networking, discussion, and resources around art therapy and trauma infomed practice, grief & bereavement, veterans, indviduals living in war inflicted regions, PTSD, disaster relief & recovery, and refugees to name some examples.

In addition to our community on LinkedIn, you can learn more here about the many ways The Art Therapy Alliance embraces social media and connection on-line to promote art therapy, the work of art therapists, and build community.
